The 19th International Architecture Exhibition, known as Biennale 25 for short, took place in Venice in 2025. This time, the individual exhibitions referred to the name proposed by Carlo Ratti, ‘Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective.’ Sometimes it was a direct reference, and sometimes the authors of the presentations ignored the name – as was oft en the case at the Biennale. Ratti assumed a scenario in which new designers from all over the world were discovered, and the Biennale brought generations together. There were also many works relating to the latest trends in architecture connected with climate change, biodiversity and collective action right from the design stage.
