The Editorial Committee of "Architecture and Town Planning Quarterly" accepts only original, previously unpublished and unsubmitted scientific articles on topics consistent with the thematic scope of the journal.
Authors are required to read and adhere to the journal's adopted
Principles of Publication Ethics.
The Scientific Council and the Editorial Committee follow procedures against scientific dishonesty (such as falsification and fabrication of data, plagiarism, self-plagiarism, ghostwriting, guest authorship/honorary authorship).
In the case of multi-author publications, it is necessary to indicate the contribution and scope of work of the individual authors.
The authors indicate the source of funding for the research.
By submitting an article, you agree to submit it to the double-blind peer-review process listed on the journal's website.
Submitted material should include:
- the text of the article in English, prepared in accordance with the following editorial requirements. The preferred volume for articles is 20,000 - 40,000 characters with spaces, up to 10,000 characters for research notes. In justified cases, authors may submit texts longer or shorter than specified here
- summary (1000-1500 characters with spaces)
- keywords (3-6)
- graphic files of the illustrations of the highest possible quality
The editors reserve the right to make changes to published texts.
Publication of the article is free of charge.
Authors retain copyright on published articles.
Articles in the Quarterly Journal of Architecture and Urban Planning are made available as pdf files under Open Access, i.e., through unrestricted access to scientific information as defined by the Creative Commons Licence (
CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
Articles are marked with a digital DOI identifier.
Until publication, authors have the right to withdraw submitted articles.
Authors have the right to appeal against a decision not to accept an article for publication. The Editorial Committee will then refer the article for a second review in accordance with the review procedure. The final decision to publish an article is taken by the Editor-in-Chief.
